Veterinary Assistant

Part time. Set schedule. Small animal practice with few employees.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting during veterinary exams
Surgery prep and aftercare
Feeding/cleaning
Monitoring, walking animals
Record keeping
Medication administration and dispensing
Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Running laboratory machines
Maintaining a clean environment
Must have:
Good communication skills. Knowledge of basic computer functions and ability to type.
Experience working with animals. Preference given to those with experience in handling/restraining and other aspects of medical care.
