FLORIDA REQUIREMENTS FOR VPK TEACHER
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
- 45 hours of DCF-approved Preschool Age Appropriate Training (BAPT)
- A minimum of 480 hours of experience working with children (0-5 years old) within the past 5 years
- Completion of required health and safety training (including CPR/First Aid)
- Must complete the VPK Child Assessment Training
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and love for children!
