Are you ready to take on a hands-on role and looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and welcoming team? Ellis Seeds is looking for a Seasonal Warehouse/Grain Yard Operator to help keep our operations running smoothly through the fall. We are looking for help for August and September, with the potential for continued casual employment throughout the year.

Your Role in Keeping Us Growing
As a Grain Yard Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, running small equipment, maintaining the yard, and supporting our seed plant operations. We’re seeking someone who’s comfortable with small machinery (forklift experience is a plus) and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and operate equipment, including forklifts, augers and bagging machines.
• The ability to lift and carry 55+ lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Assist with grain truck unloading.
• Maintain and organize the warehouse space and yard.
• Clean up grain spills in the seed plant and yard, as well as clean bins and trailers.
• Move bagged seed with a forklift.
• Tow and whipper snip to control grass and weeds.
• Take on additional yard duties to support the team.

What You Bring to the Team:
• Previous farm or warehouse experience, including driving and operating equipment, is an asset.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong organizational skills.
