About the role
Assertive Staffing is seeking a Warranty Supervisor to lead daily mechanical and technical warranty operations. You’ll oversee a team and help ensure safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Schedule options: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM (overnight).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule technical and clerical personnel.
- Coordinate daily warranty activities.
- Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Track labor hours and control overtime.
- Oversee training, performance, and hieral levels.
- Communicate with vendors and customer representatives.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in warranty, production, mechanical, or technical roles, or 3+ years of mechanical or technical experience with hands-on hardware data.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fluency in English and Metric systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers and report writing.
- Comfort working in a rail car environment and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible, dependable, and capable of managing shifting priorities independently.
