Key Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of waste in designated areas while following applicable safety regulations.
• Sort and process recyclable materials to support effective recycling practices.
• Inspect and maintain waste management equipment and vehicles to meet operational standards.
• Respond professionally to residents’ questions and concerns about waste management.
• Document and report incidents or irregularities in collection operations.
• Attend training on safety compliance and proper waste handling.
• Work with teammates to improve collection routes and operational efficiency.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of safety practices in waste management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in waste disposal and recycling preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with waste management software and reporting tools is a plus.
