Job description
Ardurra is looking to hire an experienced Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Primary Function
The Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager will play a crucial and strategic role in leading our water/wastewater engineering staff, supporting, and delivering water infrastructure and treatment projects in the Phoenix, AZ area. Key responsibilities will focus on project execution and delivery, providing exceptional client service, business performance, and leading and mentoring the Phoenix Water/Wastewater team. Innovation and collaboration will be highly valued.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Ability to monitor and evaluate the operations of the Phoenix Water/Wastewater team Coordinating tasks, motivating team members, fostering positive communication, and resolving conflictsActively involved in monitoring the budget, schedule, and quality of projects within the groupSuccessful experience in proposals and scope & fee writing to obtain workProvide technical leadership for projects as a mentor to all levels of the teamSupervising Project Management staff and recruitment of new staff when neededResponsible for monthly group level performance to align with overall group objectives/targets for growth and profitabilityBe available to team members to mentor junior staff and consult with the Practice Director for guidanceResponsible for delivering service to the client and for client relationsResponsible for risk management and proactive change managementDevelop innovative solutions to add value to our clients that differentiate Ardurra from competitorsResponsible for marketing to existing clients through project performance, expanding the scope of existing contracts, and identifying new project opportunities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) License in the state of ArizonaMinimum of 10 to 15 years of related experienceAbility to guide, direct, and coordinate with multiple professionals involved in water/wastewater type projects and to manage the performance of various personnel in other departmentsAbility to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
