About the role
Confidential is a family owned farm seeking full and part time workers for all parts of a farrow to finish hog operation.
Responsibilities
- Breed sows, farrow and process baby pigs, and move hogs.
- Manage hog health and welfare and feed hogs.
- Possibly grind and deliver hog feed.
- Perform other duties necessary to ensure healthy hogs.
Requirements
- Be able to complete physical duties including bending, lifting, herding hogs, climbing and other necessary duties.
- Be able to work in hog facilities, in all weather conditions and occasionally outdoors.
- Have an active drivers license and be insurable by the farm's insurance company.
- Farm and/or animal care experience is desired.
