Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Tasks

• Prepare Ohio workers' compensation claims for administrative hearings.
• Draft legal documents, obtain medical records and coordinate independent medical examinations.
• Manage electronic filings, deadlines and communications with attorneys, clients and providers.

Requirements

• 3+ years paralegal experience
• Ohio BWC and Industrial Commission procedures. Claims/hearing preparation, medical records, filings and deadlines. MS Office, strong writing, proofreading and organization.
• Preferred: Paralegal certificate, related degree or bachelor degree.
