Job description
RecruitPod Canada is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join a regional insurance defense firm's workers' compensation group in Richmond, Virginia. This full-time, on-site role is suited to an attorney with 1–5 years of experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of workers' compensation litigation.
- Prepare and argue pretrial motions.
- Conduct depositions and work with expert witnesses.
- Support trial preparation and related litigation matters.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of relevant associate attorney experience.
- Experience handling workers' compensation litigation from pretrial through trial preparation.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
- Admission to the Virginia Bar is required.
- Civil litigation experience is a plus.
