Youth Basketball Referee

Referees oversee youth league games and practices, enforce rules, manage time and scores, promote safety and sportsmanship, and help de-escalate conflicts. Referees work closely with staff, coaches, and volunteers to create a respectful, supportive environment.
- Preferably 30+.
- Reliable car to be able to get to CAMP AFFLERBAUGH (La Verne) and CAMP ROCKEY (San Dimas)
- Knowledge of 3 v 3 BASKETBALL (which could lead to spring flag football and summer futbol)
- Prior officiating experience preferred
- Strong communication, fairness, and conflict-management skills
- Commitment to youth development and restorative justice
- Be punctual and professional
- Ability to remain active in indoor and outdoor settings
- Background screening and compliance with safety policies required (on-line training & fingerprinting)
- Schedule: Every Saturday (9:30AM - 3PM), League Games >> SAT 9/19 - SAT 11/7, CBA Playoffs >> SAT 11/14 & SAT 11/21, AABL Finals (CBA vs CGR) >> SAT 11/28
