Orthodontic Assistant
Provide chair side assistance to the orthodontist to ensure that patients are well cared for.. Setting appointments, written letters to patients for check ups, answering phone calls, discussing finances, updating patient records in TOPS, and data entry for each patient interactions and appointments.. Clinical: initial bonding of braces for both arches, changing wires, O ties, common ties, steel ties, etc.. Delivering Invisalign, appliances for bite correction, palatal expansion, and elastics; as well as ensuring patient well understands oral hygiene and home care instructions..
