Security Inspector/Supervisor

Perform daily visits to client sites, ensuring the guards are on site and they are carrying out their daily or nightly duties. In the event of break-in’s or theft at any of the sites, it is my duty to carry out a thorough investigation and liaise with the S.A.P. and management of that site or property in question. I have to compile a full report of the incident and hand it over to my employer, thus maintaining a good relationship with the client and putting proactive plans in place to avoid re-occurrence of the incident.

Security Inspector/Supervisor

Perform daily visits to prospective client sites, ensuring the guards are on site and they are carrying out their daily or nightly duties. In the event of break-in’s or theft at any of the sites, it is my duty to carry out a thorough investigation and liaise with the S.A.P. and management of that site or property in question. I have to compile a full report of the incident and hand it over to my employer, thus maintaining a good relationship with the client and putting proactive plans in place to avoid reoccurrence of the incident.

Logging movement of C.I.T. vehicles/crews, and all monies or assets that have been picked up from clients and deposited at Banks. Communicating with clients and admin. Department (problem-solving). Ensuring the safety of crews on vehicles, in case of robberies, accidents or any emergency that requires assistance – therefore ensuring the correct procedures are followed. Monitor CCTV Cameras from Base-building and Access Control. Liaise with clients if vehicle is running late before client calls (proactive). Communicating with S.A.P. and Metro Police in an event of suspicious vehicles, or stolen vehicle alert – including suspicious-looking people.. Daily planning of schedules and compiling of duty rosters for crew members who would provide services to prospective clients (CIT). Ensure smooth running of all operations, including ensuring that fleet vehicles were roadworthy, by liaising with the workshop foreman on a daily basis. Compiling of leave rosters, day-off rosters, daily absentees and liaising with admin staff to ensure that the company ran a tight ship. Occasionally liaise with sales consultants when new clients came on board, to ensure that the new client’s service was scheduled correctly and this included terminations of service, etc.. Responsibility of the radio control room, where the radio controllers had to report to me with all operation problems, including robberies, where I had to compile a report and forward it to the investigating department. Conducted weekly meetings on risk assessments, how to eliminate excessive running costs and to provide a good service to the clients.
