For sure. We needed to collab with this huge company, which was like a supplier for the products this one time. And essentially what we did is to come up with a different type of video that took in mind our company's brand and image, but also theirs. So we kept it like very cohesive, either if it was viewed from their profile or if it was viewed from our profile. So yeah. We needed to meet a couple of times and, you know, go over the scripts, go over the production line, but at the end it was amazing.
So as a social media editor, I'm really used to CapCut, and I'm working with After Effects right now, but there was this one time that I only used CapCut. And essentially, when we needed to complete the video, we needed these sort of different type of transitions where we needed glowing stuff and masks and some sort of like shiny points. It was impossible to do it in CapCut, so I needed to learn Premiere and have like a couple of, you know, YouTube crash courses and our tutorials, that kind of thing. But the end result was pretty good. So I'm the type of person that if I don't know how to do something, I'll manage it. I'll get to know how to do it so it performs.
Hi, so we had to manage this account which was Correct My CNA, and every single month we were supposed to focus on one product specifically. So we needed to have everything ready before the month starter. So essentially, we wanted 30 reels with 30 stories and 30 copies and 30 covers as well. And what we did was to manage a strategy where we content, essentially, fun type of reels, informational type of reels, and really kind of fun mixed with the procedure type of reels. And we ended up doing a trailer that we posted the very first day of every month. So the trailer served some sort of expectation type of content. So it was great. And it indeed really managed to increase the engagement rates because overall, we managed to notice because we tracked every reel and we tracked every hook and we tracked every script, we managed to notice what worked and what didn't. And we kept doing what worked and we essentially got rid of what didn't work.
Yeah, I always work in teams and it's amazing since whenever you're, let's say, extremely busy and you're handling this type of case, and you're sort of, let's say, in the middle of a meeting, and you currently reach this client via phone call, and for whatever reason you're like fully busy on a meeting and you know that client is gonna come back. I've always lend a hand for my teammates for them to pick up my phone calls or for me to, like, in the other case scenario where I needed to pick their phone calls. So we always have each other's back, and that always worked because nobody missed their podas and nobody missed their cases, nobody missed anything because we're always looking out for each other. So that's just an amazing way of thinking, and it's also an amazing way of making friends. And indirectly, it's an amazing way of keeping a really healthy work environment. So yeah.
Another was this program. It was for the Department of State of the United States of America. And essentially, because of a NDA, I can't disclose the name of it, but we needed to handle a really big amount of cases, and those were filtered by a case number using letters and numbers. So we needed to track up and update the cases and update the contact and update the information. So essentially, I needed to manage this sort of CRM in a way that I tracked all the cases that I have every single day and that I met the quotas. And I also that I successfully implemented whatever needed the cases to be implemented with, for example, notifications that needed to update their case status or they needed to update their documentation, their legal processes, that kind of stuff.
So there was this occasion where I needed to handle cases where the user was a little angry or upset since they didn't fully submit all the papers to complete their applications within the system. They didn't know that since they were a little older and they didn't know their way around technology in their laptop or in their phone. So I think the rightest tool is empathy and talking to them with calm and just, you know, make them feel heard and make them feel that you understand them. So once we reach this point where we can actually have a conversation, because they feel that I care about them, we can actually get to the main issue and see if there is any documentation they needed to provide or if there is an error in the system. But first thing first, they need to feel heard. And once we reach that point, the conversation just is way easier.
Hi, my name is Esteban. I just finished my master's degree in UX UI, and I love the gaming industry so much. I especially love Gran Turismo games and Call of Duty and Spider-Man. Essentially, I think I'm the right fit for this job since I know a lot of UX gaming usability theory and I would love to participate.
Hey, like I said previously, there's like the need to actually get into a conversation with the customer every now and then. And, ok, every now and then, there's this angry customer where you actually can't do really anything about it because the case because the procedure has not gone the way they wanted to because they forgot to add something, some information, maybe, because they forgot to add some payment or things were delayed because of something on their side or task couldn't be really done, but not because it was the company's fault, because it was their fault and they're angry now. So whenever you get those type of cases, like I said, empathy is your...
So I needed to usually handle cases like I have quotas to meet, like it was around 30 cases a day, and essentially, every now and then, there comes, I don't know, this type of client or case in that specific scenario where they are not really like that tech savvy, they're a little maybe a little older and they don't really know their ways with their phones or their computers and essentially they need a little bit of help. And then I understand every now and then, people can be a little stressed out because they're not getting, you know, their papers or the information. So it has happened to me that whenever I got those type of clients and the best way for me to turn around the situation and essentially like stir things in a positive way, is to actually talk to them with empathy and understand what's their actual problem. And every now and then you need to guide them throughout procedures and explain them the information and take your time essentially to understand what do they need or what are they not understanding. So yeah.
So this is a tricky one, so essentially, once the idea is approved, every now and then you come up with ideas that need, you know, like the actual storyboard or actual animations beforehand. So once you have these kind of pieces, you can actually send those to the production team. So you kind of have like the main idea for them to actually know what the outcome should look like, but also you really need like a detailed list in all departments of what are like what's needed. If you need an actor, if you need an actress, if you need a location, you need a, I don't know, a car, what type of cameras do you need because then for some specific pieces, you don't need the phone, you actually need to use a camera, and you need a location and everything. So you need to come up with a list and ask for these lists to keep in mind. So you need to essentially like double check and manage um some sort of, let's say, like focused project manager type of role when it comes to these type of pieces. So it's really, really important that the client's needs are met, and you need to ensure that by kind of supervising the whole thing usually, yeah.
I went with a moment where my client needed like to advertise a different product in a specific month. Like it was, let's say, October, we did a nose procedures and then, I don't know, later in December, we needed to advertise lip procedures, and essentially everything was done in social media. And the main idea for us is to come up with the whole month of content a month ahead, and for the very first day of every month, we launch essentially like a trailer for audiences to hype that of what was coming. Like, we treated the account as if it was like a Netflix series of some sort. And we divided the month in straight up advertising pieces, then user-generated content type of pieces, and then like a small intern series in the way of like mimicking, like trying to portray some version of, I don't know, the devil wears Prada inside the company. And the fun type of company, the fun type of real. And it was so interesting, so interesting how the audiences engaged so much in this type of content because we gave them fun, we gave them informational, and we gave them so much hype. And it was, and it was awesome.
So I essentially um managed recently to come up with pretty much a great response to a client relationship since my previous teammate didn't like really handle things in the best possible way, like things didn't feel as smoothly and what I did actually was pretty much stopped everything and revised and had a meeting with him and actually like getting to a conversation where I can empathize what is his expectations of the product which is a landing page, and what is essentially his view of the look and feel and what's the essentially like the main idea of what is the function of the website and everything, which is, like I said, a landing page, but it's pretty much um it's a little complicated since they're like a lawyer firm, essentially. So what I did is to have this conversation with him, and after I shared a benchmark with him. So I made him part of the conversation in the sense of the ideas. So once I got the grasp of what's the goal, what actually he wants for the look and feel and the functionalities, things started running like way more smoothly and way things started to feel like way more easier. So that was amazing, actually.
