All right, so my overall experience working in the logistics field, it's just a pretty good experience that I've been having in the past three years, almost four years. Being honest with you, the things that I like the most is the fact that I can actually spend time here with my family. But I'm really oriented towards my schedule, you know. So whenever it's time to be working, I put myself in that specific state of mind where I got to do my job. I cannot just be going, wandering around, even though I have the capability because I'm working from home, I am really strict and really, really specific when it comes to doing my tasks working, you know. It's been really good. It's been really, it's been nice. I've been able to communicate and talk to people from all over the United States, you know, creating or building reports with different facilities, with different carriers, shipping managers, receiving managers, clients. So I mean, you kind of do a little bit of a dip in every single department that handles logistics. So you got to be really diligent whenever it comes to doing visual audits or paperwork. That's something that I'm really good at as well. double checking that bill landings, bill of ladings are actually the correct ones, you know, the PODs, the BOLs, like I was mentioning, you know. And overall, you know, just providing or making the drivers feel comfortable getting in contact with me, you know. That's something that I try to always look over, you know, helping them out, trying to make them feel like they got somebody they can trust on. And it's been a great experience. I mean, that's the reason why I'm looking for an opportunity in this field.
All right, so what experience do you have with dispatch software or similar tools? How have you used to improve communications? Basically, the one that I typically use for communications is I'm in Guatemala. It's a software called RingCentral to get in contact with, like I said, clients and drivers and any third party that needs to be actually reached over. The way that I handle is the iPhone, which is the main channel of communication for my preference, at least for me. But I've actually handled text messages as well. Text messages are not that formal, you know. I do have a way to communicate via text. And the most formal piece of communication to my understanding and the way that you have like a paper trace, the paper trace is going to be via email, of course, right? In addition to that, other softwares that I have used are a software called Turbo, where I basically handle loads. In the past, I've actually worked as well in the billing department handling payments, you know. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, that's something that I did in the past as well. In addition to that, I actually worked with different CRMs. There's another one called TriumphPay. TriumphPay is actually for billing as well, that I've handled in the past. And I've used Salesforce in the past as well for other type of jobs in another job industry that I was actually working in as well. So yeah, I've used several types of communication devices or communication softwares for me to be able to have information available for our clients and for drivers as well.

All right, so um challenges that I do have um whenever I face coordinating deliveries or pickups. I mean, the the typical challenges, you know, um going with schedules, the amount of trucks that you guys might have available or not, depending on that. So am I gonna go ahead and and and and double check information to see which truck is actually near, nearest to the, to the actual pickup location or delivery location if uh if it's a local uh route that you are handling, you know. Those, those trucks that are picked up and and they go ahead and be placed in the yard so that the next day it gets delivered by a different truck. Um It's just a matter of actually um planning to see who's gonna be the best uh option available, you know. um Other type of challenges, like I was mentioning in the previous email uh the previous video, um it might be as well uh some um mechanical breakdowns that could happen, you know, um getting in contact with um with specialists uh talking about um mechanical, the mechanical team that can go ahead and assist further. And overall, you know, just handling that type of information. Uh The way that I have resolved that is by basically um having direct communication via phone, requesting information, sending specific emails. Um of course, there's gonna be procedures that you guys will want me to to to place in, you know, or or to take part in, and I'm willing to learn them so that I know what are the best steps to follow, you know. I'm really good at following protocols, but when there is an emergency, I'm actually pretty good at actually solving things in a direct and logical way as well. So yeah.
Well, the approach that I typically do, or I typically have whenever I have multiple dispatch requests is I basically go by either depending on the schedule, you know. If there's appointments, you will want to prioritize the appointment that's actually coming up next. If not, depending on the urgency of the matter, depending on um if it's an urgency dependent on the driver, family emergency, or something going on with uh um failures around the trucks, then you might want to go ahead and tackle that first. Other than that, you know, just go by the messages that you receive by drivers, and basically try to have a clear communication with the with the shippers, good communication with the clients as well. I'm pretty good at multitasking. What I typically do is I go by emails, but I'm not afraid of actually communicating via phone as well. I do have experience, quite experience, uh dealing with the people that are happy and at the same time, people that are not going to be happy um whenever you communicate information, but try to be as cordial as you can. I try to provide information in a in an urgent matter, and um try to always be, I mean, not try, always go by telling the truth, not inventing stuff just to get out of the problem for the moment. Um, that's something that I truly go by. I try to be as um as direct and transparent as possible so the customers go with the satisfaction that they know what's going on with their notes. As far as drivers go, I typically go ahead and have good communications with them. Like I said, depending on the matter of the urgency, I will tackle first what needs to be tackled first. But I do go by handling at least two or three.
