Khotso - Factory Worker at Cansmart with 4 years of experience in manufacturing

The experience I have to do with operating machines, I worked at a company, KenSmart PTY Limited. I worked as a SEMA operator, is to make sure if the machine is operating and the joints are progressing well, is to make sure that the oil is fully loaded and checking all the lubrications of the machines. is cleaning of the equipment, making sure the first production was out properly. And the second production before we produce a new product, we have to clean our machines, fill oil, water, and lubrications, making sure the working area is inspected correctly. If it's inspected due to detentions of food safety, things that can compromise in our production and make the customers accept our products. So I had to check my machines if all the patterns on the notepad are working properly, the machine is functioning well, the time that I take set up on the iPad is accurate, the production number is to be accurate, where we start the production, we know how much we will have produced in that day or on that time.

At the time when I had to face a challenge while working with a team, it was a time when we had loss of production and loss of our production shift, which were not detected into the computer. So all of us were not in our original shift. We were working overtime. So when I work overtime, I usually use my notepad, the book I took to record each and every mistake, each and every production, so that when it comes to our shift, we can produce how we resolved the specific issues. So I had my own notepad that helped the team resolve the issues to find out how much we have lost in the target and how much we have reproduced.

Good day everyone, my name is Hozomahala. I once worked in a company called CanSmartPTYLGB where we manufacture production of cans for food safety. So there was a time whereby we never met our target, which was caused by the production manager. So the production manager did not authorize a specific amount of cans that we had to produce for that time. So us as a team, we came up with a solution that we can run and produce more production so that the manager, when he comes, we rather have more quality than less of production. So we all took part in our department based on the different positions. So our leader had to load more of our cans material that we used to do cans. So she had to load more so that all of us can work over extra hours for the shift. So those are the steps which we took our extra time to work to cover the required target of that time. Thank you.
