The strategies that I use to ensure safety while performing physical tasks in an environment is preparing before I move or before is the team move. First thing first, we have to check whether there are any hazards on the area. And we have to ensure that we are wearing the perfect PPE, like gloves, protective hats, and clothing. And also some goggles. Some people work in environments where there can be dust flying or where they are using glass that can get inside the eyes. So goggles are very important too. And also, we have to use proper techniques, like keeping a stable stand and moving slowly, using mechanical aids, or also having a first aid in case something happens to someone at work, we will know that we are covered. We have a medical aid to assist that person.
Yes, there was a situation where I had to maintain cleanliness and organization in my work area. The way I approached it, it was to find out first and first were the way cleaning equipment. And I did find out there are cleaning equipments and everything that is needed to keep the place clean. So I had to call the team. We were a team of 30. And I had to call them and say, guys, we should maintain cleanliness in this workplace so that it can look clean and smooth. So they asked me, are we going to work once, I mean, in a day to clean this whole area, 30 of people? And I said, no, we are going to divide ourselves into a group of five, five, five. Five people are going to clean for a week. The following week, five people are going to clean. We're going to exchange in this way. And they said, okay, that's a good thing. It's fine with us. So we did a timetable and I made sure that there is a particular time where every team will clean on their cleaning week. And they did exactly just that.
