Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple client accounts, processing high-volume invoice batches, EFT payment runs and vendor accounts with consistent accuracy.. Perform monthly bank, cashbook, general ledger and supplier statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate, audit-ready records.. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjustments as part of month-end and year-end close through to trial balance.. Compile monthly management information including income and expense records, debtor and creditor positions, VAT reports and reconciliation schedules.. Prepare and submit VAT201 returns in accordance with SARS deadlines and maintain complete supporting documentation.. Verify supporting documentation and obtain required authorisations for payment runs in line with internal financial controls.. Compile reconciliation packs, financial schedules and audit files for internal and external auditors and support SARS review processes.. Improve bookkeeping workflows and internal controls to support processing efficiency and reduce financial risk.. Liaise with finance and operational stakeholders to resolve queries, improve data accuracy and maintain effective working relationships.
