Sterile Processing Tech

Assist in cleaning, decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments., Assist in building case carts for surgery , add ons, and cancelled cases ., Put away all items not used in the surgery.

I assisted in reprocessing endoscopes, I assisted in sterilization of surgery instruments, peel packs, decontamination of instruments, assemble of trays, create case carts for surgery., Answer phone call requests from surgery, turn over instrument trays., Assist the vendors with trays., Assist O.R. with requests.

Endo Tech/Sterile Processing Tech

I assist the surgeons with exams such as EGD’s and colonoscopies., I collect specimens and set up room with surgeons essentials., I disinfect endoscopes and test for organic matter after disinfected., I disinfect instruments and sterilize them also., I wrap them and place in proper place., I assist in the OR also.

Sterile Processing Tech

I assisted the physicians with exams such as colonoscopies, and EGD’s., I reprocessed endoscopes, I cleaned and turned over the Surgery suite., Ordered supplies, did inventory, order lunch for staff, order all scrubs and linen., Kept a log of all tests done on sterilization logs , and endo log book., Changed the filters and the chemicals and kept a log of them., Check for outdates and all items.
