Under the direct supervision of the department manager or assistant director, this position provides administrative support and general secretarial services. Answering and rerouting all calls to the right department or patient using multiline switch telephone. Responsibilities may include document preparation and distribution, arranging meetings, scheduling, generating reports, greeting visitors, and maintaining files. This position requires the use of some independent judgement and appropriate handling of confidential information. Role may handle multiple projects. Answers, evaluates, and appropriately responds to phone calls, taking payment providing receipt and notating accounts as payment was received providing receipt and copies of receipt in orderly filed manner, electronic mail, visits, and other inquiries. Provides clerical/administrative support, relaying messages, arranging appointments and filing. Creates documents, files, prepares correspondence, and produces copies. Prepares, edits and distributes reports, agendas, letters, meeting minutes, and other documents. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks and objectives. Maintains organized files and office equipment. May be required to provide travel arrangements. Knowledge of all code and alerts and procedures
