Ensure a smooth run and all relevant information like machine settings on the paperwork, arrange parts for the next job with maintenance team.. Assist the maintenance team in breakdowns and maintenance.. First hand in product error.. Test and record the product for the QC lab dept.
Material Handling Operator
Receiving daily deliveries coming on site, counting and verify if it corresponds with the Delivery note and logging it in log books.. Receipt the items on the system (SAP) generating a Good Receipt Certificate (GRC) and submit it to QC department.. Issue reservations and Bill of materials (BOM's) that are orded by other departments on SAP and load the returns on SAP using the picklist or return outbound and checking the physically before loading on SAP.. Conducting monthly stock taking or cycle counts and ensuring all stores are clean at all times.. Attend meetings with other departments.. Labelling the items with respect to their categories.. Sending off items with the couriers and attaching waybill for the courier.. Work hand in hand with the buyers for paperwork that is required for receipting if not provided with the items upon delivery.. Audit all log books( from cleaning to temperature) and ensuring that the environmental checks align with the specifications provided.. Packing and stack materials in the bin locations using pallet jacks and Bendi and forklifts.
