About the role
Valeiro Consultores is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Administration and Financial Manager to lead global financial operations, modernize administration, and ensure reporting integrity across four business lines and international regions. The role has an initial transformation mandate followed by ongoing global controllership.
Responsibilities
- Map, standardize, and optimize administrative workflows across business lines.
- Co-lead the end-to-end selection, configuration, and go-live of a new corporate system and unified data model.
- Guide regional teams through system adoption.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including intercompany eliminations and foreign exchange conversions.
- Produce consolidated financial statements under IFRS and oversee regulatory reporting in each jurisdiction.
- Maintain and monitor an internal control framework (COSO), including balance sheet reconciliations and claims and recoveries flows.
- Assist with regulatory capital control, solvency monitoring, cash flow management, and intercompany funding.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a regional controllership team.
Requirements
- Degree in finance or accounting.
- 10–15+ years of experience in corporate finance or controllership.
- Experience in (re)insurance or financial services, or a background in a Big 4 firm, is highly preferred.
- Proven track record co-leading end-to-end ERP implementations in complex, multi-entity environments.
