AI Software Engineer

About the role

Kreitech is seeking an engineer to build and deliver AI capabilities in production environments, with a focus on software engineering, GenAI workflows, agentic systems, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GenAI workflows that incorporate structured data, business logic, retrieval processes, prompts, models, tools, and APIs.
• Implement agentic system functionalities, including tool use, multi-step reasoning, orchestration, state management, and structured outputs.
• Use advanced technical prompting techniques and conduct evaluations, observability checks, and regression testing.
• Architect AI/ML systems with comprehensive designs rather than integrations alone.
• Mentor other engineers and foster growth and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience focused on architecture, APIs, testing, and production environments.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of other languages or stacks is a bonus.
• Hands-on experience building features and applications with LLMs in production settings.
• Skills in prompt and context architecture, structured outputs, tool or function calling, retrieval, and model integrations.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, and semantic retrieval.
• Experience designing broader AI/ML architectures and holistic solutions.
• Experience with agentic systems or orchestration tools like OpenAI Agents SDK and LangGraph is a plus.
