Role Description The AI Strategy Consultant at CFM Group will work on-site in San Jose, Costa Rica under a contract engagement, partnering with stakeholders to define, refine, and implement AI initiatives aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include assessing current processes and data assets, identifying AI opportunities, and developing roadmaps that outline use cases, timelines, and resource requirements. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design pilot projects, oversee solution evaluation, and recommend appropriate technologies and vendors. Daily work also involves preparing clear documentation, executive presentations, and reports that communicate AI strategy, risks, expected outcomes, and performance metrics. The role requires facilitating workshops, providing guidance on governance and ethical AI practices, and supporting change management and training efforts to ensure successful adoption.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in AI strategy, digital transformation, and technology consulting, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical business plans.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in data-driven decision-making, opportunity assessment, and ROI evaluation for AI initiatives.Solid understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals, data platforms, and cloud-based solutions, with familiarity in selecting and integrating third-party tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience leading workshops, presenting to executives, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines and budget in a consulting or advisory environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AI, data, project management) are an advantage.Experience with AI ethics, governance frameworks, and regulatory considerations relevant to AI and data use.Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency and prior experience working in Latin America or international settings are beneficial.
