Join our small family farm in Washington, Missouri, as an Animal Feeder and Farm Laborer . We need dedicated help to feed and water a large number of animals during weekday morning and afternoon shifts. Job Details Location: Washington, Missouri, United States Schedule: Morning shifts 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM; Afternoon shifts 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Full-Time: Wednesday through Sunday, must work one weekend day per week Part-Time: Thursday through Sunday available Weekend Part-Time: Farm retail booth salesperson Saturdays 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (April 6 to November 2, 2024) Responsibilities Feed and water animals daily regardless of weather conditions Clean barns and cages on a rotating schedule, including goat barn, rabbit barn, and quail shed Assist with butchering chickens and ducks Milk goats using a machine twice daily (training provided) Travel between two farm properties located ¼ mile apart Requirements Farm experience preferred; references required for full-time applicants Ability to lift 50 lb feed bags and walk up to 10,000 steps daily Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions (cold, snow, heat) Reliable transportation to travel between properties Honest, hardworking, and passionate about animals and farm-to-table operations Willingness to commit long-term (6 months to 1 year or more) We provide on-the-job training and a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
