Corporate & Litigation Attorney

Predictabill is looking for an attorney with experience in Corporate Law and Litigation to join its legal team.
The ideal candidate is a practical and commercially minded lawyer who can independently manage corporate matters while also handling litigation and dispute-related work. This is a hands-on role involving direct interaction with local and international clients, management of multiple matters and the delivery of clear, timely and actionable legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate
* Advise clients on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters.* Draft and review shareholders’ and board resolutions, powers of attorney, corporate agreements and other corporate documentation.* Manage corporate governance and corporate maintenance matters.* Support incorporations, corporate restructurings, changes in shareholding and other corporate transactions.* Review and draft commercial agreements and related legal documentation.* Coordinate filings and procedures before the Costa Rican National Registry and other relevant authorities.* Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations aligned with clients’ business objectives.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
* Manage civil, commercial and collection proceedings.* Draft claims, responses, motions, appeals and other litigation documents.* Develop litigation strategies and assess procedural and substantive risks.* Represent and assist clients in judicial and administrative proceedings.* Manage pre-litigation matters, including demand letters, negotiations and settlement discussions.* Monitor deadlines, hearings and procedural requirements.* Provide clients with clear assessments of litigation risks and recommended courses of action.
Qualifications
* Law degree and authorization to practice law in Costa Rica.* 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably combining corporate and litigation work.* Solid knowledge of Costa Rican corporate, commercial and procedural law.* Experience managing legal matters with a high degree of autonomy.* Strong legal drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.* Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.* Strong communication and client-management skills.* Comfortable working with technology and digital legal tools.
