Job Title: Automation Quality EngineerLocation: 707 Plaza San Martin Arenales Buenos Aires, ArgentinaEmployment Type: contractJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web, API, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on experience with automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of software quality processes.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.• Perform API testing for RESTful and backend services.• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application defects and test failures.• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers.• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.• Improve test coverage, automation reliability, and overall testing efficiency.• Maintain test data, test environments, and automation documentation.• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation best practices.• Analyze test results and provide clear reports on application quality and release readiness.Required Skills• 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.• Strong experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cucumber.• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management.• Experience troubleshooting automated test failures and application issues.
