We are looking for a Self-Contained Teacher to join our elementary team.
Role Description This on-site role, based in Bogota Colombia, involves designing and delivering lesson plans, assessing student progress, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Daily responsibilities include preparing materials, communicating regularly with families and school leadership, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and student support, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, performance, and behavior. The role is full-time and requires commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to school and organizational policies.Qualifications Ability to teach low elementary-level subjects in a self-contained classroom, including literacy, mathematics and science. Strong bilingual proficiency in English.Experience designing lesson plans and assessing learning outcomes.Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to build an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching credentials or licensure preferred.Prior experience teaching pre-school or low elementary level, ideally in bilingual or international school settings.
