Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote

About the role

INDI Staffing Services is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn raw numerical or qualitative data into narratives that help business colleagues make better decisions. The role focuses on extracting insights from large volumes of complex data and helping solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and identify and query data sources.
• Clean and shape data, creating Tableau datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Present finished products to stakeholders and gather feedback.
• Deploy data, reports, and dashboards to Tableau and develop reports to analyst-defined specifications.
• Conduct technical training.
• Maintain and document the operational environment.
• Maintain and process SQL Server SPs and queries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience developing Business Intelligence dashboards and reports, analyzing data, and visualizing data.
• Understanding of Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment, and at least 1 year of previous work experience using Tableau.
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling concepts.
• Strong analytic skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to deliver commitments.
• Superior organizational skills and a disciplined approach to implementation, support, and documentation.
• Experience with ETL from a variety of sources using SSIS, Python, or similar technologies is a plus.
