Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the shipping and receiving of cargo, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal shipping regulations. Prepare accurate shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork to facilitate smooth cargo transit. Monitor cargo movements in real-time, proactively updating clients and internal stakeholders on status and any potential delays to maintain transparency. Assist in resolving logistics issues and client complaints promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction and operational continuity. Collaborate with transportation companies and warehouse teams to optimize shipping routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. Maintain precise records and perform data entry using advanced logistics software systems to support reporting and compliance audits. Conduct regular analyses of shipping methods and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks. What We're Looking For Required: Associate Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2-4 years of proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding roles, preferably within the U.S. market. Strong understanding of shipping regulations, compliance standards, and customs procedures. Proficiency in logistics software tools such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems) or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and partners. Preferred: Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Logistics Associate, APICS certifications). Experience working with cross-border shipments and international freight regulations. Demonstrated ability to analyze logistics data and recommend actionable improvements.
