Carpenter

Salary: $48.75 / Hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construct, alter, maintain, install, and repair building components such as floors, ceilings, roofs, stairways, doors, windows, cabinetry, and finish carpentry using materials including wood, fiberboard, gypsum board, mineral tile, metals, and related materials.
- Perform framing and finish carpentry work, including concrete form building, sheathing, siding, and trim installation.
- Install locks and other building hardware and assist with material planning, cost estimating, job documentation, and carpentry needs assessments.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency.

Experience:
- Successful completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program or five years of experience in carpentry work on buildings, one year of which must have been at the journey level.

Special:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds.
