About the Company
Our client, a company located in San Juan dedicated to the distribution of industrial materials and equipment, is seeking a Finance Manager (CFO) to lead the company’s Finance Department, serve as a strategic partner to management in decision-making, and actively contribute to the growth and profitability of the business.
About the Role
Are you passionate about leading an organization’s financial strategy and directly contributing to its growth and sustainability? The Finance Manager (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, profitability analysis, cash flow management, regulatory compliance, and providing strategic support to senior leadership. This position will play a key role in decision-making and in strengthening the organization’s financial controls.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.Lead financial planning processes, budgeting, and forecasting activities.Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financing requirements.Analyze financial and operational indicators to support decision-making.Prepare and present financial reports to management and shareholders.Identify opportunities to optimize costs, increase profitability, and improve financial efficiency.Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.Participate in strategic initiatives, expansions, investments, and special projects.Collaborate closely with leaders to drive sustainable financial results.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is highly desirable.Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.Previous experience in financial leadership roles.Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems/tools.Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
