Compliance Expert

On behalf of Huawei, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ComplianceAssistant to join our team in Panama City. In this role, you will be a fundamental pillarin ensuring our operations maintain the highest legal standards and align perfectly withregional regulations.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site position. The Compliance Assistant will be responsible forsupporting the strategic operations of the compliance department. Your day-to-day willinvolve providing legal insights, reviewing critical documentation, and fostering a cultureof integrity through internal training and incident management. This role requires aprofessional capable of communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders andexternal authorities to meet our global compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities• Provide expert insights on compliance management and local regulatoryrequirements.• Analyze and refine compliance clauses within legal contracts and agreements.• Lead compliance workshops and training sessions for employees at all levels.• Manage and document compliance-related incidents, ensuring swift and effectiveresolution.• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to drivecompliance goals.
Qualifications• A professional degree in Law is required.• At least 3 years of proven experience in legal work or corporate compliance.• Professional fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin)is a strong plus for this position.• Deep understanding of Regulatory Compliance and relevant legislation.o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
