About the role

Celebrity Cruises is seeking a Concierge for shipboard guest services. The role focuses on guest advocacy and the seamless execution of group, loyalty and concierge events.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact, advocate and representative for guests, with increased focus on the V.I.P list, Loyalty, Groups and Concierge Class.
• Organize and oversee the execution of Group, Loyalty and Concierge events and coordinate with the stakeholders who facilitate them.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns in an upscale, considerate, professional and positive manner, showing empathy and actively listening.
• Maintain the appearance and ambiance of the Concierge lounge, Loyalty Spaces and conference rooms, keeping spaces and materials clean, organized, stocked and welcoming.
• Maintain knowledge of brand features, ship-related information, revenue products, voyage and destination information, and guest information and preferences.
• Coordinate special requests for personalized services, including transportation, restaurant reservations, activities and services, wine, spa, shore excursions, flowers, tailor service and babysitting.
• As an Officer, lead by example, maintain a firm and calm composure, treat guests and crew with humility and respect, champion cleanliness and orderliness, greet guests and crew following WAYS philosophy, and take ownership of occurrences requiring direction and leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests.
• 2–3 years of background experience as a Front Desk/Receptionist in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Experience handling different types of events with 80+ guests.
• Guest services shipboard experience is an advantage.
