Team members collaborate closely with clients and consultants to create tailored, high-quality design solutions.Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in San Juan, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position coordinates subcontractors and trades, manages site logistics, and monitors progress against plans and specifications. The superintendent enforces safety protocols, conducts regular site inspections, and addresses field issues to maintain quality workmanship. The role also involves reviewing construction documents, supporting project planning and scheduling, assisting with cost control, and communicating consistently with architects, project managers, and clients.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Construction Site Management and Construction Safety skills to supervise daily operations and maintain a safe work environment.Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Budgeting skills to support planning, scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation.Candidates should possess excellent Organization Skills to manage documentation, coordinate multiple trades, and track project milestones.Experience in working with architectural teams and interpreting drawings, specifications, and building codes.Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and familiarity with renewable energy design concepts is beneficial.Proficiency with construction management software and common office productivity tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse on-site teams.Relevant experience as a construction superintendent or similar supervisory role; formal education in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
