The team is dedicated to serving the poor while empowering local educators and communities.Role Description The Senior Education Consultant will provide expert guidance to Christian schools in Panama City to improve educational quality, relevance, and Christ-centered integration across curricula and school programs. In this full-time, on-site role, the consultant will conduct school assessments, lead training workshops for educators, and support the implementation of pedagogical best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with school leaders on strategic improvement plans, coaching teachers, and monitoring progress against defined educational goals. The consultant will also prepare reports, maintain documentation, and coordinate with Edify’s local and global teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards and objectives. This role requires regular on-site visits, relationship-building with stakeholders, and active participation in community and school events.QualificationsStrong background in Education and Educational Consulting, with experience supporting schools or educational programs.Consulting skills, including needs assessment, solution design, and implementation support for educational initiatives.Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal, for training, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.Customer Service mindset to build trust, respond to school needs, and sustain long-term partnerships.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Demonstrated experience working with faith-based or Christian educational institutions is highly beneficial.Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English, with the ability to work in multicultural environments.Strong organizational skills, capacity to manage multiple projects, and readiness to work on-site in Panama City.Experience RequiredMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, accounting and finance, computer science, or a related field. In addition to local and regional travel, Edify holds an annual all-staff meeting, alternating in a US-based or international location each year. Travel would be required to attend this meeting.
