Role Description The Coordinador de Mantenimientos is a full-time role responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Based in Guatemala City, this hybrid position combines onsite visits to client locations with some work-from-home tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing preventive maintenance plans, assigning and monitoring technicians’ work, verifying correct execution of service orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves diagnosing and prioritizing equipment issues, managing maintenance records, supporting inventory control of spare parts, and collaborating with operations and customer service teams to improve response times and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.Experience in Maintenance Management to plan, organize, and track service schedules, work orders, and maintenance documentation.Proven Supervisory Skills to lead technical teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance in the field and remotely.Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.Ability to use maintenance management software, spreadsheets, and digital reporting tools.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and safety practices.Effective communication skills for coordinating with technicians, clients, and internal departments.Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC-related fields preferred; experience in a similar coordination role is an advantage.Availability to travel within Guatemala City and surrounding areas as required by client needs.
