TekBricks is hiring a skilled Cyber Security Specialist in Waxhaw, North Carolina to safeguard our systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor security environments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement robust security controls to ensure compliance and minimize risks. Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activities Identify vulnerabilities and conduct comprehensive risk assessments Implement and manage security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms Respond promptly to security incidents and perform root-cause analysis Ensure adherence to security policies and industry standards Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing exercises Provide security awareness training and best-practice guidance to internal teams Required Skills Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and architectures Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions Understanding of OWASP guidelines, malware analysis, and threat intelligence Knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 2 years experience in Cyber Security roles such as Analyst or Engineer Preferred certifications: CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States (On-site position, remote not eligible) Compensation: $5,000 per month Employment Type: Full-Time
