Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures that enable efficient, scalable data processing across multiple platforms. Transform and prepare raw data for analytical and operational use by leveraging ETL tools and scripting languages, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product managers to define data requirements and improve overall data quality. Implement optimized data models and storage solutions tailored to operational needs, improving query performance and data accessibility. Monitor and optimize existing data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability, reducing downtime and latency. Participate actively in code reviews and uphold coding standards to maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering to continuously improve processes and tools. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in SQL for database management, complex queries, and data manipulation. Experience with Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for data processing and automation. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and hands-on experience with tools like Apache Airflow or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural team environment. Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly their data services. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards. Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and career development.
