JOB DESCRIPTIONA client in the Food Service Industry is seeking a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to join a high-impact data modernization initiative. This individual will play a critical role in the company's largest technology transformation effort, helping migrate and modernize the enterprise data platform from legacy AWS RedShift to Databricks. The project is considered foundational to the organization's future digital strategy and will enable broader initiatives across web modernization, digital menu enhancements, pricing capabilities, and other customer-facing technology investments. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and optimizing data solutions within Databricks. The engineer will work closely with Data Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics, and Architecture teams to develop scalable data pipelines, modernize legacy data assets. Success in this role requires deep Databricks expertise, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where delivery timelines are a top priority.
