Courier Guy is looking for a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time position is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries that enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain delivery van functionality. Plan and follow efficient routes to guarantee timely delivery of goods. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and addressing inquiries or concerns. Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to manage schedules and meet deadlines. Required and Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver’s license with strong driving skills; forklift operation experience is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to problem-solve and manage time effectively under pressure. Experience in logistics and supply chain operations is advantageous.
