ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site inspections of critical equipment and address failures that impact hotel operations.Review and approve purchase orders that are essential to hotel operations.Consult with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, construction issues, MEP systems, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and Fire & Life Safety.Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients on behalf of the owner or developer.Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.Prepare and submit cost estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.Develop and implement quality control programs.Provide advance equipment specifications and support preferred purchasing decisions.Maintain communication with corporate colleagues.Mentor and guide employees to ensure adherence to service standards and procedures.Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and hire Engineering team members.Report to work on time, wearing the appropriate uniform and name badge at all times, while adhering to the company's personal appearance standards.Budget Planning and ControlComply with the Human Resources Policies and Procedures established in the Associate Handbook.Fully understand and comply with the company’s policies regarding fire safety, hygiene, health, and occupational safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study5+ years' of management experience in the fieldStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProject Management SkillsEnglish B2
