Role: Director of Amenities Construction – Ultra-Luxury Master-Planned Community (1,000+ acres)Location: Puerto RicoSalary: US $225,000 - $275,000 + generous bonus + medical/dental/vision + benefits
A globally recognised Luxury Real Estate Developer are seeking to appoint a Director of Construction - Amenities, to lead the delivery of a portfolio of high-end amenity projects within one of the Caribbean’s most significant private residential communities.
You will take responsibility for projects from inception through completion, providing leadership across construction, programme, budget, quality, procurement and contractor management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of multiple luxury amenity construction projectsManage project budgets, schedules, cost controls and overall deliveryOversee general contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendorsCoordinate closely with architecture, design, engineering and development teamsLead bidding, procurement and contract negotiationsMonitor construction progress, quality and compliance through regular site involvementEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with design intent and exacting quality standardsProvide senior leadership across project teams and resolve construction and delivery issues
RequirementsSignificant construction/project leadership experience within high-end residential, hospitality, resort or private club developmentsA strong track record delivering complex amenity buildings and facilities such as clubhouses, beach clubs, restaurants, wellness/spa, pools, golf or leisure facilitiesStrong technical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, schedules and architectural drawingsExperience managing contractors, consultants, procurement and project financialsThe ability to operate successfully within a highly design-led, quality-focused development environmentDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline preferred
Experience within ultra-luxury resort, private club or destination residential development would be particularly relevant.
