Taeghan Dalrymple is hiring a reliable and skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time position involves measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels on residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate has drywall installation experience, follows safety protocols, and works well independently or with a crew. Key Responsibilities Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings accurately Install drywall sheets using hand and power tools Secure drywall to metal or wooden framing Patch, trim, and prepare drywall surfaces for finishing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and regulations Communicate effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople Qualifications Previous drywall hanging or construction experience preferred Ability to lift heavy materials (50–100 lbs) and perform physical labor Familiarity with drywall tools and equipment Basic knowledge of construction methods and safety standards Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or scaffolding Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50–100 lbs regularly Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and overhead work Ability to stand and work for extended periods Work Environment Work on residential and commercial construction sites in Halifax Full-time hours with competitive pay Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $30 per hour based on experience Opportunities for career advancement within the company Preferred Skills Experience with steel stud framing Ability to operate lifts and scaffolding safely Knowledge of drywall finishing and taping techniques Valid driver’s license or construction certifications are assets
