📢 We’re Hiring: Corporate & Legal Due Diligence Analyst | Renewable Energy Transactions
Talera is seeking a bilingual LATAM professional to support a U.S.-based utility-scale wind development company during an active transaction process.
This is not an engineering-focused position. The role requires someone with hands-on experience managing a due diligence process from within a deal team, with a strong focus on corporate and legal documentation, virtual data room ownership, and transaction coordination.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and manage the virtual data room, including its structure, indexing, naming conventions, document status, and version control• Organize and review corporate structures, entity records, organizational documents, contracts, and transaction-related materials• Maintain the due diligence request list and Q&A log• Track missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation• Coordinate follow-ups with internal teams, counterparties, and external legal, financial, and technical advisors• Monitor deadlines, priorities, and outstanding deliverables throughout the transaction• Provide clear status updates and escalate documentation gaps or risks promptly• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and reliable records under tight deadlines
Required qualifications:
• Direct experience supporting or managing a corporate or legal due diligence process from within a transaction team• Strong experience managing virtual data rooms and document-control workflows• Familiarity with corporate structures, entity and organizational records, contracts, and transaction documents• Experience in the U.S. energy, renewable energy, or infrastructure market, including exposure to ERCOT, PJM, Duke Energy territories, or similar markets• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills• High attention to detail and sound professional judgment• Ability to identify and communicate knowledge gaps clearly rather than make unsupported assumptions• English proficiency at C1 level or higher• Availability to overlap with U.S. working hours
Preferred:
• Experience with land and title documentation• Previous exposure to utility-scale wind, solar, or other infrastructure transactionsContract details:• Compensation: USD 2,500 per month• Duration: 3–4 months, with the possibility of extension• Location: Fully remote• Engagement type: Independent contractor• U.S. time-zone overlap required
