Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Electrician role based in Puerto Rico, with some work-from-home flexibility as project needs allow. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components related to automation, connectivity hardware, and facility infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting electrical schematics, wiring and cabling equipment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring systems comply with applicable safety codes and regulations. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, coordinating with engineers and technicians to support IoT and industrial installations, documenting work performed, and recommending improvements for system reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Electricity and Electrical Work, including safe handling of circuits, wiring, and equipment.Candidates should possess practical Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and devices.Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to automation, connectivity hardware, and industrial control systems.Formal training, apprenticeship, or certification as an Electrician; applicable local licensing in Puerto Rico is preferred.Experience working with industrial or IoT-related electrical installations and low-voltage systems is beneficial.Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer documentation, and to follow established safety and compliance standards.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital tools for work orders, documentation, and remote collaboration.
