About the role
Mokgadi Constance Machaba is seeking an Environment Officer for its Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance Team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Inditex GTW, HIGG FEM, OEKO-TEX® STeP/FEM, ZDHC, GHS, and customer requirements.
- Manage documentation and support audits for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA8000, HIGG, Inditex, and customer COC.
- Implement and monitor environmental, chemical, waste, HSE, energy, and water management systems.
- Conduct HSE risk and environmental aspects/impact assessments.
- Maintain waste, ODS, and fuel consumption records.
- Coordinate third-party environmental testing for wastewater, emissions, air, noise, and drinking water.
- Conduct employee training and manage chemical inventories, SDS, BHIVE reporting, and related tasks.

- BS / BE in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
