JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Finance Operations Head to oversee our financial operations and lead our remote team based in Argentina.This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us maintain efficient financial operations, improve internal systems and processes, and provide insights that support strategic growth. If you're experienced in finance and accounting, passionate about people and processes, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll DoTake ownership of daily financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliantManage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeepingLead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverablesPrepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadershipTrack budgets and cash flow to help drive smarter business decisionsPartner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processesIdentify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and controlsEstablish efficient procedures and accountability standards across financial operationsSupport leadership with financial analysis and recommendations that contribute to business growth
What You Bring15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadershipProficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting toolsStrong expertise in financial operations, reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial complianceExperience managing remote teams and working independentlyExcellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindsetStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team developmentAbility to take ownership and consistently follow through
