Financial Analyst

About the role

New Job Hunters is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the accounting and finance team at a leading impact investment firm in Latin America. The firm has more than 20 years of experience mobilizing capital toward scalable social and environmental solutions.

Reporting to the Accounting Coordinator within the Finance & Administration department, this role supports payments, financial reporting, audits, and documentation. The team works on fund flow, reporting, and documentation, collaborating with leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process invoices to ensure timely payment to vendors and service providers.
• Manage the accounting integration of validated tax invoices (CFDI), including cancellations, modifications, and monthly provisions, and track Electronic Payment Receipts (REP).
• Administer corporate cards, collect receipts, and allocate expenses by project.
• Monitor the SAT tax mailbox to accept or reject invoice cancellation requests.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the group’s income and expense database.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting, including exposure to audit processes; experience at an accounting firm is a plus.
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software, ideally COI or a similar ERP.
• Practical experience with Mexico’s SAT tax platform.
