St George's College is looking for a Director of Fundraising & Engagement to join our team, working across both our Quilmes and North campuses.
A strategic leadership role responsible for designing and executing the school's comprehensive fundraising strategy, ensuring the sustainability of educational and infrastructure projects. This position reports directly to the Principal and works cross-functionally with the entire Georgian community: alumni, students and their families, teaching staff, and the Old Georgian Club.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning: Develop and lead the fundraising plan aligned with the school's strategic objectives.Community Engagement: Build initiatives that integrate the whole Georgian community, including co-creating projects with the Old Georgian Club to strengthen belonging and commitment.Campaign Execution: Plan and execute annual campaigns and special projects (scholarships, infrastructure, innovation).Audience Development: Build and manage prospective donor pipelines, including individual donors (monthly giving programs), High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) / Major Donors, and corporate partnerships.Team & Vendor Management: Build and coordinate a technical fundraising team, and consolidate a pool of specialized providers (CRM, digital marketing, telemarketing, creative agencies, etc.) to ensure proper execution of plans.Relationship Management: Manage relationships with donors, alumni, families, companies, and organizations, implementing loyalty and recognition programs.Impact Communication: Coordinate impact communications with the institutional area and ensure transparency in results.Reporting: Oversee budget, performance reports, and fundraising KPIs.Innovation: Drive innovation in fundraising tools and channels, including digital and the use of AI (ideally generative and agentic).Education and ExperienceDegree: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or related fields. A postgraduate qualification in fundraising or management is a plus.Experience: 5+ years in fundraising, institutional development, or similar roles, ideally in education or the social sector.Key CompetenciesGravitas and the ability to inspire trust.Leadership and team-building capabilities.Strong motivation for continuous learning and flexibility.Communication and storytelling skills.Conflict resolution and work organization.Networking and strong relationship-building skills.Strategic thinking and results orientation.Technical KnowledgeProficiency in direct marketing tools and CRM.Experience with email and telemarketing campaigns.Advertising experience (digital and traditional) is a plus.Knowledge of and openness to generative and agentic AI applied to fundraising.Languages: Advanced English (required).Working ConditionsSchedule: Full-time.Location: Quilmes & North campuses.Reports to: School Principal.
Important Note Regarding Location & Transportation: Our Quilmes and North campuses are located approximately 30-40 minutes from CABA, depending on your starting point. To ensure accessibility for our staff, the School offers transportation alternatives for both campuses, as well as the option of a subsidy to help cover travel costs.
