General Counsel Job in Singapore – Legal Leadership Role

Company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Counsel to join our legal team in Singapore . This full-time position offers a competitive salary of USD 210,000 per year and requires a strategic legal leader to drive our compliance and governance efforts in a dynamic market. Key Responsibilities Provide expert legal guidance on contract management, corporate governance, and risk management. Lead negotiations and draft legal agreements to protect company interests. Manage litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel as needed. Oversee compliance programs ensuring adherence to laws and regulations. Conduct legal research and advise senior management on regulatory affairs. Promote legal awareness and compliance culture across internal teams. Monitor legislative changes impacting the company and update the executive team. Required and Preferred Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree. Minimum 5 years experience as in-house counsel or similar role. Proven expertise in negotiation, compliance, litigation, contract management, and corporate governance. Strong legal research and advisory skills. Familiarity with risk management practices. Professional certifications in compliance or corporate governance are a plus.
